Hello,I have received several calls from mobile numbers whose owners I do not know, and while reading a forum, I saw that it was possible to remotely trigger the voicemail of a contact without them noticing in order to identify them without being known ourselves. If you dial 3665 before the person's number, you go directly to their voicemail (at least in France, I've never tried it abroad). However, I don't know if this procedure is chargeable, my phone bill isn't detailed enough :)

If the person doesn't speak on their messaging, we can't know whose phone it is.

I have the opposite problem.
People call me insisting that I called them. But that's not the case; my phone is only for emergencies.

Sometimes it's a wrong call transfer. They call back, and it goes to my phone even though it's not the same number.

I got into an argument with a lady who thought I was her husband's mistress. Honestly, I think for some people the phone plan isn't expensive enough because since she doesn't believe me, she keeps calling me every day! Maybe if I explained to her that I'm hospitalized for chemo and that I have other things to do than call her husband, she would understand? Not sure.

The Yellow Pages is free if the number is in the directory; it finds it. Once I even put the number directly in the Google search bar, and it worked.
But not this time; I'm having the same issue with a mobile number, and it doesn't work.

Hello,

This is just a scam to make money. The websites that tell you that you can identify the owner of a number (especially a mobile one) are lying to you. In fact, you call a 0899...
and you pay (very dearly) to obtain what? Just the recorded message of the number owner's greeting, which you can do yourself by calling them anonymously. So there's no need to pay for that. Furthermore, mobile operators are not allowed to give out their customers' names, making it impossible to obtain the name without calling the person, and I repeat, you can do it yourself.
