I’ve had the same problem since the Adobe Flash Player update.
Chey32's answer is correct, but only the applications in use appear in the mixer.
You must therefore start playing an internet video before opening the mixer, and there you’ll notice that the sound level for Flash Player is set very low by default.

Hello, on Windows 10 right-click the sound icon at the bottom right of your PC, and select Volume Mixer; there you have the Mozilla icon with the sound at minimum, am I mistaken?

Recently, I have a problem with the sound on my PC. Indeed, whenever I want to listen to music on Windows Media Player or watch a video on the Internet, such as on Dailymotion, the sound crackles; it is muffled, stifled. So I checked the volume, which was at maximum, and then I checked if there was any problem in the "Device Manager" and I realized there was a yellow ! on the "graphics cards" I updated it. But the problem persists, I already posted my problem on another forum but I didn’t get much help, so I hope we can help me solve my problem on this forum.
I want to emphasize that I don’t know much about computers and that my speakers are integrated into my monitor.

the problem is that we’re using firefox !!!!!!!!! i don’t have time to rack my brains especially since no valid answer has appeared yet !!!!! change it to another one; chrome proves to be better !!!!
