Hello, I often hear about torrent files but I don't actually know what they are and what their particularities are.
If you could enlighten me, I would be pleased.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

In short, to download via torrent, you need a software that manages torrents, like utorrent or bittorrent (personally, I use both). Then, you go to a torrent tracker (torrent site). For that, I don't know, you type any movie into your search bar (Google's your friend) and then add "torrent" at the end. You press enter, then you choose a torrent site that offers the torrent you're looking for. You download your torrent (if all goes well, your file is in ".torrent", that's normal). Then once your file is downloaded, you find it, and you open it with the torrent software you have (I repeat, utorrent or bittorrent, and there are plenty of others), so you open your .torrent file with one of these programs, and then the software will open, with a loading bar (that's your complete file being downloaded). Depending on the number of seeders (people sharing the file), your download will be faster or slower. Once your download is complete, don't delete your file, even if it's at 100%. This will allow others who want to download the same file to go a little faster. Essentially, you're sharing. It will also be beneficial for you since you gain a ratio, something you absolutely need to keep downloading torrent files. The ratio ensures that people are sharing, and that the torrent system works well. Since torrenting is essentially about sharing =D. (However, there are always some jerks who cheat. If everyone acted like them, nothing would work, since they don't share --')
I hope I answered your questions, because it's long and complicated to understand, but once understood, it's pretty simple!
