Bonjour, Je possède un PC portable Dell Inspiron 4000. J'ai voulu formater mon disque dur pour réinstaller Windows car je ne pouvais plus l'ouvrir. J'ai modifié le BIOS pour pouvoir démarrer avec un CD, mais cela n'a pas fonctionné. En fait, mon disque dur est mort. J'ai trouvé un autre disque dur, je l'ai remplacé, mais je ne suis plus sûr de la configuration du BIOS pour le démarrage avec le disque dur. Maintenant, un message s'affiche à l'écran : "Retirez le disque et appuyez sur une touche du clavier". Pourriez-vous me donner la marche à suivre pour le remplacement d'un disque dur sur ma machine ainsi que la bonne configuration du BIOS ? D'avance, merci de me répondre. 
Configuration: Windows XP Mozilla 1.7.7

    Hello,

    if you don't know how to set up the BIOS, go into the BIOS, click on "Load default settings," then "save and exit," and restart normally.

    Your message "remove the disk" means that you have a CD or DVD or USB stick already inserted, remove it and it will boot from the hard drive.

      Hello, thank you for replying. I can't find "load default settings" and I don't have a CD in the drive or a USB stick plugged in.

      Pour un démarrage avec disque dur, voici ce que vous pouvez mettre : - **Boot First Device** : Hard Drive (Disque dur) - **Boot Second Device** : CD/DVD Drive (Lecteur CD/DVD) ou USB Drive (Lecteur USB) - **Boot Third Device** : Network Boot (Démarrage réseau) ou Disabled (Désactivé) selon vos préférences.

        Normally, you set the CD as the "first boot device" and the HDD as the "second boot device"

        if you want to save time during startup, you choose the hard drive as the "first boot device,"
        but when you want to boot from the CD, you will have to go into the BIOS first,
        unless you can change the boot order by pressing a key at the end of the BIOS loading.
