Hello,
I'm looking for the manual for the Pioneer mini system (three CDs) model: XR P170C. I tried contacting the manufacturer but since it's from 1999, they no longer have it!!! Actually, I'm having trouble getting the CDs to work! They spin, but when I hit "play," nothing happens!
Can anyone help me out? A big thank you in advance!!!
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 525.13

I did some research to help you but without results. Just know that you are not the only one in this situation with this system, so I recommend (not to push for consumption) buying another one because if the CDs spin but reading doesn't work, there must be an issue with the lens, or the laser, or at least some parts located in that area.

If you want advice on buying another one, I recommend the LG FA162 mini system that I have and which is very, very good. I am completely satisfied with it (especially in terms of sound). I bought it for €299 three and a half months ago, but now I’ve seen it for €150.

Thank you very much for your advice!
It's nice of you to take the time! But I'm still going to try to make it work because it's a gift that is dear to me!
Moreover, I believe someone on the site has found the user manual!
If I can bother you again: I have a very silly question: the CDs: should they be placed label side up or label side down? I have no idea....
Have a great start to the week!

You need to place the CDs image side up (track down)
