DS Lite can’t read some ROMs

Hello,
I looked on the forum but didn’t find (or couldn’t find) an answer to my question. I have a R4 Revolution which is a bit capricious. It doesn’t read a ROM on 2. The same ROM works perfectly on my sister’s R4, but not on mine. It says “couldn't read data” or “aucune information n'a pu être lue, veuillez éteindre la console et réinsérer la carte DS.” It happens from time to time that I have a problem with a DS game (not a ROM) and the DS home screen tells me “no game cartridge inserted” even though there is one. Could this be a problem with the DS?
