My monitor is stuck, displaying OSD LOCKED.

Hello,

I have an LG FLATRON L1730S monitor and the menu configuration (the buttons below the monitor) is locked.
Every time I press "menu" or "set/auto," I get the message OSD LOCKED.

Do you have any ideas on how to unlock my monitor?

Hello, I had the same issue and I found that you just need to press Menu for 5 seconds, that should unlock the lock or vice versa, lock it...  There you go.

Press and hold the menu button for 5 seconds,  it removes the OSD LOCK, and you can reuse your buttons.

If that doesn't work (which was the case for me), here's what to do:

You need to turn on the screen, then press both "menu" and the "button" to turn on/off the screen.

After the screen is off, turn it back on and check.

Hello.
If this issue concerns an LG screen and there are 5 buttons (EZ ZOOMING / Menu / (-) / SOURCE / AUTO/SET) under your screen, here’s how to proceed:
Press all the buttons at the same time (Hold them down if it doesn't work). Normally, the message "Controls Unlocks" should appear on the screen.

Hello, I turned off my screen and then I held down the menu button at the same time as the power button to turn the screen on/off. After that, I turned my screen back on and the buttons worked again. (HP screen with five buttons)

Hello everyone
To unlock the HP 1740 screen, press the auto and power buttons simultaneously, the screen will turn off. Keep your finger on the auto button, then press power. The screen will turn on while still holding your finger on the auto button for a few seconds.
