What is the purpose of a speaker in a case?

Hello, I bought an Advance Turboost case, and with the screws there is a small mic marked Speaker; I wanted to know what it’s for and where to connect it on my motherboard. Thank you for responding.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.12

    it's the very basic built-in speaker!!

    to connect it, you need to find the speaker output on the motherboard
