Starsat SR-X4000d Problem

Hello everyone, first of all, I want to clarify that I searched through the previously asked topics before creating this thread, but I didn't find satisfactory answers. (Maybe I searched poorly).

Here's my problem:
I bought a Starsat SR-X4000d decoder in Algeria a few weeks ago, and everything was working perfectly. But for the past few days, I'm receiving the channels, but the screen stays black (sometimes I hear sound).
So my question is, what can I do to fix this issue?

    Salut Heich, j'ai un problème avec mon décodeur Star Sat SR 4000D. Je l'ai ramené d'Algérie et il marchait très bien, mais un jour, j'étais en train de zaper sur les chaînes, j'ai vu que le décodeur s'éteignait et puis il a commencé à se rallumer, mais il affiche "on;;;;; et puis star;" et il s'arrête comme ça. Je n'ai même pas de menu ni rien. S'il vous plaît, je veux vraiment de l'aide. Merci d'avance.

      Actually, since 19/05/2008, I no longer have the encrypted channels. I would like to know if you have found a solution.

    Hello everyone
    I have a Starsat SR-X4000D receiver that is blocked and displays "ash". After thorough research, I found that the only way to solve this problem is through JTAG (I understand the procedure and the steps to make the JTAG cable). The problem now is that on my receiver, I identified the location of the JTAG connector and the JP1 jumper on the motherboard, but there is no connector (the 6 JTAG pins and the 2 from JP1)—there is only the trace. So even if I make this cable, I can't connect it to my receiver
    So how do I reprogram my receiver with this JTAG cable?
    Or if you have other solutions or advice, I would be grateful,

    maybe it's not a demo problem, you need to check the peritel sheet, I had the same problem before.
    try putting an antenna sheet with 3 inputs

        The antenna connector with 3 holes is perfectly normal, the RCA connector red, black, white.

    Hi,
    my demo star sat 4000d was working very well until the day I had to update it.
    It shows ash and during a boot, the loading completes at 50% and stops, showing
    EAAb. If anyone has a solution to unlock it, I thank you in advance.

    Salam everyone, I had a problem with my Starsat 4000D demo after I flashed it; it was stuck displaying "up9" and wouldn’t respond for 5 or 6 days. Then I managed to get it working again thanks to a firmware I found at http://krimo666.mylivepage.com/file/1151/4648. So here it is, and good luck to everyone. Salam.

    Good evening. I have a problem with my Starsat SR X4000D. The channels are gone, and I was told that I need to flash the receiver. I bought the USB cable and everything needed along with the patches and updates from the website www.satdw.com, then I installed the USB cable. When I connect the USB cable to my PC and then to my decoder, nothing appears. So I open ALIMINIUPG_Vr[1].3.0 that I downloaded to transfer the updates to my decoder, but I don't know which COM to choose (COM1, COM2, COM3,.....). Please help me. Thank you.
