Hello,
For a few days now I’ve noticed that my PC makes no sound; I used to have startup sound, but now there is nothing
I wanted to listen to music on Media Player but no sound either
Yet when I run the sound test in the Realtek audio manager it works,
Please help me I don’t understand and it annoys me.
Thanks in advance
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

hi, following the same problem as you, I think I’ve found it.
right-click on the small grey speaker: playback device, there should be: speaker and: Realtek Digital Output.
if the green check is on: Realtek Digital Output that’s why you don’t have sound.
right-click on: speakers, and: set as default device.
    there you go.
    bye.

PC portable ou tour ? C'est suite à une installation de logiciel ou une modification de configuration.

I watched it/watch it, so the sound is at maximum. For the speakers I went into properties and it says that this device is functioning correctly. But one small thing I noticed: the speakers aren’t marked with a green dot like OK, whereas Realtek is. So I don’t know. ?

but one little thing I noticed is that the huts parleurs are not marked with a green dot like ok
    while the realtek is.

i think your problem is there .............right-click on the speaker and try testing the sound and configuring it

Here I had the same problem, at minimum sound (it seems there is no sound, but when you press the PC to your ear you can barely hear it). The solution is actually very simple: there was a knob on the left edge of the PC (below the SD card slot); you just need to adjust it and, like magic, it works. So the solution has already been recalled earlier, but this may help anyone who has the same issue.

    Have a good day everyone,

PS: I’m anonymous, no need to question me—I was just passing through the discussion.

What are you talking about, dark? The scroll wheel isn’t present on all machines.

    Hello.

Right-click the small grey speaker icon at the bottom right and choose playback device.

    Tell me what is checked.

Also give the model of the PC.

        Hi,

on the front of the computer, next to the headphone jack, microphone (colored blue, pink, and green), there is a small volume adjustment knob. I had this issue.

        Good luck

It's kind of you, but I don't have any of that!
Exactly, I already looked to see if there was a sound setting by a knob or a small button, but I didn't find anything.

    Hello,

If there is a small button that keys fn + F3 is mute, fn+ F4 quieter, fr+ F5 louder

is your PC still under warranty ???
otherwise when you read a music CD which player (software) do you use

Yes I’ve already used those buttons but with no effect.
Yes the PC is still under warranty but I bought it online so I don’t know how it works, it’s through Proximania, otherwise I use Media Player to listen to songs.
