How to open a port? (uTorrent) Solved

Hello! Utorrent tells me that I have no open ports... I haven't studied ports much yet, but I would like to know how to open or close them, and where it's managed. Thank you. Sorry if this question has already been asked, howitworks keeps referring me to hacker attacks... Please don't refer me to portforward.com, I've already seen those sites that just want us to download a pre-made product.

I don't have a router, just a cable modem and a Vaio laptop with French Windows

You go to your Windows Firewall, then to Exceptions, check if you have uTorrent checked, if it’s not there you add a port, and you choose uTorrent from the program list, and normally it should be good

ohhh sorry I forgot to mention that I had Avast.
I think that's the reason for the blockage, because uTorrent is in the exceptions of the Windows firewall.

hmmm I'm wandering through the settings of Avast without finding any tabs comparable to those of the Windows firewall. but I feel it's getting close. trial and error.

ok you open avast, go to peer to peer shield then in customize, and uncheck the utorrent box -- The spoken word is silver, but silence puts to sleep. blablablablablablaba........

Hello everyone!! I recently changed my internet provider and since I got my new box, my download speed doesn't exceed 1kB/sec for P2P software. I was advised to open the ports but I don’t know how to do that. uTorrent is included in the exceptions of my Windows firewall and in Avast it was already unchecked in the peer-to-peer shield.
