Question

Hello, I'm looking for a realistic fighter jet game. I've already tried Lock On, but it's quite difficult. Anyway, I'm looking for a fairly recent game like Ace Combat on PS2 but for PC.
I've bought a Saitek joystick and I'd like to inaugurate it, if you know what I mean.

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.12

I know of a pretty good fighter jet combat simulator! This game is called Shockwings, it's free and doesn't require any downloads. There are many planes (F16, F15, MiG29, Su47...). The graphics of the planes are worthy of a real air combat simulator!

I own Flight Simulator Gold version There is an expansion called "Acceleration" with fighter jets You can land on an aircraft carrier, there are espionage missions... But this game takes 25 gigabytes and takes about 4 hours to install : x It costs around 50 €  I hope this helps you :)

Hello,  I am a fan of quite a few flight simulators, especially Flight Simulator 2004. I played "Wings Over Vietnam" for a long time, which can now be found at very low prices in the bargain bins. It's quite realistic and fairly easy. The air combat is really fun, especially in cannon mode.

Hi.  It all depends on what you mean by air combat simulation. If you want a real sim, then it's Falcon 4 (an old game but still unmatched in simulation realism) and Falcon 4 AF, then Lock On. A real puzzle, huge manuals, but I like that.  After that, it becomes more simulation - arcade... Personally, I'm less interested.  See you and happy flying.
