Hello,
I have an external hard drive where all my photos, music, videos, etc. are stored. And now I see that some files are disappearing from my hard drive. I scanned it with my antivirus and there is nothing to report
And when I try to delete certain files, it says
An unexpected error is preventing this operation; note the error code which may help you resolve the issue later
Error 0x80070570: the file is corrupted or unreadable
How can I solve this problem?

Good evening, I had the same issue with a movie on my external hard drive
error 0x80070570 and I found the solution to delete it.- select the hard drive where the issue is
- right-click
- open properties,
- tools,
- click on error checking
- check and repair, then restart and let Windows repair the errors for me, everything went back to normal, and I was able to delete my movie hoping it works but in principle it should be fine. Gribouille
