I have the same problem with an EPSON Stylus Office BX625FWD. No lights are turning on.
I took apart the transformer located inside the printer to check for a fuse. Nothing. When opening the transformer, there are only capacitors and resistors on a circuit board. I noticed that each piece (circuit board) has a barcode sticker. I couldn't find anything on Google using the barcode references.
I contacted an EPSON authorized computer workshop. They told me: "Is the warranty still valid? If so, your printer will be exchanged; if not, I suggest you buy a new one because the problem could come from several places: the transformer or the motherboard, and the repair cost will be higher than the cost of buying a new printer." Unfortunately, my warranty expired 1.5 months ago.
I tested the power cord, OK.
I tested the transformer plugged in, and the multimeter reads 0.36 volts at the output. But since I do not know the specifications of this transformer, it doesn’t help me much.
Can any DIY enthusiasts inform me about possible solutions?
