Hello,

Could you explain to me how to put two pictures side by side in a document so I can save it on my computer?

I have Windows XP and Photoshop 7

I have two portrait photos saved on my computer and I want to create a document with the before and after picture next to each other.

How should I do this?? I'm not very skilled... so please don't skip any steps

First... Create a file. The size you want. Usually, 640x480.

Open your first image. File => Open => Location of your image.
Once opened, take the selection tool. And select your photo completely.

Go back to your 640x480 page... edit>copy, on the background layer
Same for the second image.

If you want to resize your images... Select the layer. CTRL+T. For a manual resize.
Same for the second layer.

Then take the move tool and place them as you like.
You can adjust the color of the photo. Image>Adjustment>Saturation. For the black and white effect or other.

I believe the simplest way is as follows:
in the start menu, click on all programs, then accessories, and finally paint
as soon as you open paint, paste the first photo, then paste the second
and in the end, it's up to you to arrange them.
be careful: you must first enlarge the cursor of the paint page so that you have enough space to paste the two images.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you:

after putting the images in order in Paint.
you just copy and paste them into Word.
and you will have the two photos side by side
don't forget that it's you who needs to place them next to each other in Paint.

Since you have Photoshop 7, here’s the procedure to follow
open the 2 photos with Photoshop and place them side by side
resize both photos if needed, choose the first one and place it on the left
image>canvas size
enter a width (double) click on the arrow indicating the left direction
OK
a black or white strip will appear
select the second photo
Ctrl+A
Ctrl+C and open the first photo
Ctrl+V
move the second photo
save

I can't even get two photos taken with different cameras to the same size...........
If it wouldn't bother you and doesn't take up too much of your time, I would indeed be pleased to see a more explanatory tutorial: I have Photoshop for dummies.........but I still can't find anything.
