Hello,

I'm looking for a way to connect my PC to my hi-fi system wirelessly, as I want to listen to music. I saw something on the Fnac website http://tv-video.fnac.com/a1938825/Accessoire-image-et-son-Accessoire-audio-Sonos-Controleur-CR-100?PID=35583, but it's way too expensive and I don't need anything that complicated. So if you know of something that can do this, I'm really interested. I've searched but came up empty, so I'm counting on you.

Thanks in advance for the responses
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0

    Hi,
I'm following up on the discussion in case there have been any major developments... In my case, I'm simply looking for a wireless audio transfer system from my PC to the sound system.

    Thanks in advance.

Bonjour, moi j'ai tout simplement branché mon ordi à la TV, au lieu de mon écran, et j'ai branché la sortie de la TV au système de son. C'est merveilleux, puis ça ne coûte rien.

You have the weezy from g-média.fr that allows you to stream your music to all audio systems via Bluetooth with a range of up to 100m.

      Hello,
There is a Wireless Speaker Adapter from Logitech for less than 30 euros that allows you to connect the amplifier to an auxiliary input or directly to PC speakers. And it works really well. Ref S-00113, range 9-10 m (At least according to Bluetooth power).

Hello, the website audioacousticart.com offers photographic prints that integrate everything: the amplifier, Wi-Fi, Airport or Bluetooth, as well as 60W Fostex speakers. The artwork allows you to listen to your playlists from your computers or phones or plug your iPod in. The limited edition photos are also stunning. At a time when we purchase music online, there's no longer a need to have an amplifier's casing, speaker cabinets, CD boxes, or CDs—thank you for the planet.

The audiocaousticart tables also integrate the airport, and it's the best for sound quality because the hi-fi system is embedded in an acoustic table, preventing the sound from reverberating.

    Hi
sorry for taking so long to respond

No, I haven't given up the bottle, but when I read "Bluetooth system" I was a bit confused, we do have a Bluetooth dongle for data transfer with the mobile phone but I had never taken the time to look into this technology which took me a bit of time

So for the RX2 that you found, I would say it's great to use with a mobile phone (as long as the phone is compatible)
Now, be careful, the RX2 is just a Bluetooth receiver so you also need to buy a transmitter (unless the computer is already equipped with one) but here again, be careful, the transmitter must have the A2DP profile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) otherwise no stereo

Another problem: is your hi-fi system far from the computer because the Bluetooth signal has a limited range and it is very sensitive to walls and reinforced concrete walls completely block the signal (I have a similar project but for the living room hi-fi system so I can forget about Bluetooth) as for the SV-1740 although the manufacturer claims a range of 30 m, 01.net tested it and at 15 m the signal starts to weaken

Now for the problem of whether Winamp will be able to send music without a problem, I'm a bit stuck
In a tutorial, someone explained their installation and said: "launch Winamp set to send to A2DP and not to the speakers" as soon as I started Winamp and looked for the Bluetooth settings but found nothing even with my dongle plugged in (although this is not significant since the dongle did not detect any Bluetooth hi-fi receiver) I then searched through tutorials, forums, and other Winamp manuals but there was never any mention of the possibility of transmitting music via Bluetooth, so I prefer not to make any claims.

However, during my research, I came across a Bluetooth transmitter that connects to the headphone output of the computer, so it should directly transmit the music without anything to set up I’m providing the link but I found it cheaper on eBay for €24

    Hello,

At first, I thought of a simple audio/video transmitter, but we need to pay attention to the connectors (if the receiver has a SCART socket for a TV, it won't work unless you modify it to retrieve the audio outputs). What we need are RCA inputs since Hi-Fi systems often have RCA auxiliary inputs. All of this should be checked before buying.

But while searching online, I found the ideal thing: an audio transmitter from PC to Hi-Fi system for 100 €

    Well done!
Generally, when I ask questions like this, I throw them out like a bottle into the sea, and now it’s nice to see that someone has found my bottle. Thanks for looking, it’s really nice of you, I appreciate the gesture, but since I don’t want to rely solely on others, I also did some searching on my side and I found this http://www.hama.de/portal/searchSelectedProduct*NO/articleId*136005/action*2563/searchMode*1/bySearch*rx2 the cheapest price I found so far is 53 euros.
I think the transmitter you linked is really nice, and since you seem to know what you're talking about, I’d like to get your opinion on the one I found. I want to play my music through Winamp on my PC and send it to my speakers. What I’m afraid of with the Bluetooth system I found is not being able to go through Winamp, having to go through the Bluetooth device interface, and thus having fewer features. I hope what I’m saying is clear.
In any case, the gear you found avoids that pitfall, and that's good to know >> "The SV-1740 is compatible with the most common audio playback software (Windows Media Player, iTunes, Real Player, etc.) and supports WAV, MP3, WMA, AAC formats. In practice, you just have to manage the playlist from your PC."
Now it's twice as expensive as the Hama, which is why I’d like your opinion on the latter; saving money is never to be overlooked... but if it’s just something unsatisfactory, then it's not worth it.

    Hello,

Don't worry about the response time, it's all good, it's nice to get a reply.

I checked your link and there's a hitch; I don't see a receiver, it only serves to send data via Bluetooth but I need to be able to receive them to send to my speakers, so it's not possible. Anyway, I've thought it over and I think I'm going to give up on the Bluetooth system; I'm really not sure I can go through Winamp or Windows Media Player, and I don't want to deal with something that doesn't work the way I want.

Otherwise, I want to say congrats because since the last message, I've also done a lot of research and the One For All you showed me seems to be the best for what I want to do, I came across a link where they say nothing but good things about it https://www.01net.com/tests/test-est-il-aussi-simple-de-diffuser-la-musique-de-son-ordinateur-sans-fil-176.html

And until yesterday, that was the model I was thinking of buying. I did see some Wi-Fi systems like this one http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Hifi/Chaine-HiFi/Chaine-CD/PHILIPS/5072-Recepteur-audio-Hifi-sans-fil-WiFi-SLA-5520.htm

At first glance, it looks great, but I'm not sure we can control the sound from the PC, and honestly, squinting to distinguish what's written on the transmitter's screen, I'm not keen on that.

And then yesterday I came across this http://www.apple.com/fr/airportexpress/airtunes.html well, I'm not a fan of iTunes but I also found this http://www.igeneration.fr/fr/labo/4403/ and now it’s getting really interesting.

    Hi

to get back to my link, it's true that there is only the transmitter, but look closely at the rx2; it's just a receiver. In fact, since it can be used with a mobile phone, which are now often equipped with Bluetooth transmitters, the buyer (the owner of a mobile phone) might not want to pay for a transmitter that is useless to them.
So, to use the rx2 with a computer, you also need to buy the transmitter.

As for the street Wi-Fi system from the store, when they say in the detailed description: "Digital audio files are sent to your audio receiver in digital format and then processed using a digital audio processor to..."
it gives the impression that the computer sends a lot of music to the device and then the processor manages it. If that’s really the case, you can’t manage much.

I’ve never used iTunes, but I've often heard bad things about it. I get the impression that if you're not on a Mac, it crashes a lot.
Now, if Airfoil can avoid all that hassle, why not?
I just did a forum search on Airfoil and I immediately stumbled upon Mac sites; in my opinion, it's better to think carefully before choosing this solution.

    Hello,
Ok I understand how you see things, you are right in what you say, except that I already have a Bluetooth transmitter on my PC, which is why all Bluetooth systems with transmitters interest me little.

As for iTunes, I’ve tested it, it has never crashed, but I find it not very pleasant, I can't manage my music as I want, anyway, I don't agree, tastes and colors...
As for Airfoil, I will look into it again, but I remember reading that it was compatible with Windows Media Player, so presumably Windows. And generally, Apple software that is nice has its equivalent on Windows, like Airfoil for iTunes. Some time ago I had an iPod and I remember that iTunes annoyed me (that’s when I tested it) and I found a software (xPlay) that allowed me to organize the iPod's playlist from Windows Explorer... and it worked perfectly. Anyway, so far I haven’t found anything better apart from the One for All, but that works with a USB key as a transmitter, the only downside being that since I have a laptop, I don't want to overload it with USB keys, if it's avoidable.

    Hello

the main question for the SV 1740 is: is it compatible with Vista??? What's incredible is that it's the only solution on the market but impossible to see if the Vista drivers exist..

    Any thoughts?

    See you!

You caught my attention on a detail I hadn't considered... and it could have cost me dearly, by the way!

I asked the manufacturer and here is the answer:
The SV 1740 is listed to work with the following systems:

      - Windows 98
      - Windows 2000
      - Windows XP
      - Mac
      - Linux

I would like to install one on a server hard drive to make a sort of "online jukebox," but I don't know if I can play a song from another computer than the one where it is stored. I'm not sure if I was clear, does anyone know?

Hello, I accidentally came across your topic, I'm looking for a system like the sv-1740 which was quite expensive at the time I bought my http://www.pixmania-pro.fr/fr/fr/517290/art/thomson/transmetteur-hifi-bluetoo.html and I wanted to know if it has the tendency to skip during playback or anything like that? Because my Thomson sometimes tends to skip and when I connect my wireless mouse, there are a lot of interference and the mouse glitches a lot.

    Best regards

    Hello,

I'm looking for an adapter to connect to my amplifier via RCA and network (RJ45 or Wifi), so I can listen to music played on my PC through my amplifier.
The "rx2" (http://www.conrad.fr/recepteur_hi_fi_bluetooth_rx2_noir_p_18780_29002_538377) or the similar "ANYCOM AUDIO/RCA BLUETOOTH RECEIVER ANYCOM BAR-10" (http://www.rueducommerce.fr/ is nice but it's Bluetooth. Basically, I want the same thing in Wifi!

    Does anyone know?

And does the "One For All SV 1740" also stream music played on the internet (like Deezer for example)?

    Thank you!

    Hi,
Personally, I have the Onkyo TXNR609, which is not Wi-Fi but is still network-enabled. As a result, the amplifier is connected to the modem via Ethernet, the computer is connected to the modem via Wi-Fi, and thus the amplifier plays music from my computer wirelessly.

    Hello,
There is a device similar to the AirPort Express. Sonoé.
    www.sonoe.fr
It works quite well with an internal soft router that allows for a lot of configuration. The distance is very well managed. There is some lag at times, but it's very bearable.
    Hoping to have helped.

    Hello
I found this discussion at my job while looking for a simple and correct way to connect my phone to my old amplifier... and then a great flash of despair... yes, I will try to connect everything under Vista... so what now???? Can we hope that the manufacturer who had such a good idea will be penalized by Microsoft and its super software (I specify that I am a beginner in computing...)
Anyway, I'm sure we'll figure it out!!!!
