Hello,

I created a composite report using Access 2000, which consists of several subreports.
When I run it, my main report displays, but the subreports do not show up. I can't figure out
what the problem is, so if someone could help me, I would be very grateful.

Thank you in advance for your responses!

Did you save all the states? Sometimes it helps to reinsert them. I suppose you have blank boxes instead of the states. So it's not that nothing is displayed, but only the reserved space for the state remains blank.

    Hello phil_232,

thank you for responding to this post,
I’m afraid I haven’t fully understood your solution. The state that doesn’t want to display is indeed saved and therefore the sub-states are also saved automatically, but how can I reinstate them?
Also, I don’t see the blank boxes you mentioned on the screen.

Thanks again for your reply, if you have any other ideas, let me know!

So you don't even have a "placeholder"? It's complicated to explain. When you insert a subreport into an Access report, it gets inserted with default height and width. This means you have a "box" where the subreport will be displayed. If you don't save the subreport, it's possible that this "frame" (box, rectangle) remains empty and thus white.
If you have chosen CanShrink or CanGrow to Yes, your subreport may not find any data, and so the subreport remains empty, but the frame reduces to a width of 0 and height of 0, so you don't see it. Could you check that the subreport is populated with data, i.e., run the subreport query?

    Hello,

Thanks to your help, I finally managed to display my report correctly. It was indeed a dimension issue (the report couldn't fit on a single page), but by displaying the result over two pages, all the information is now present.

Thanks again for your invaluable assistance!
