Hello,
I just bought a Funai LCD screen with built-in TNT.
However, I can't seem to get any TNT channels.
I switched to DTV mode, in other words, digital. Once there, I come across a menu that says "installation, DTV settings, common interface, accessories".
I press "installation" and then I access a subfolder "auto scan, manual, carrier configuration".
I press auto scan, a progress bar appears and then when it reaches 100%, I am informed that the carrier was not found.
Thank you for helping me resolve my issue.

Hello,
I bought a Funai TV about a month ago, and after a few days of use, it displayed "empty database." I took it back to the store, and they gave me another one. After a few days, it started displaying "empty database" again. I don't know what to do anymore, can you help me?
Thank you.

Hello,
Do you ever unplug your television? If so, the channel memory stays in buffer for a few minutes, but after a longer interruption, the channels are erased.
To fix this issue, I recommend keeping your TV plugged in.
If you encounter any problems, you can reach our customer service at 01 49 38 96 72.
Thank you.

Whether it's a rooftop antenna, an indoor antenna, or a collective antenna, the principle remains the same. What does the user manual say about automatic search in TNT mode?
I turned on the TV when I lit it and it worked, but after a few minutes it died. I don't know what the problem is.
I already changed a filter capacitor but the problem still persists.
I also changed a resistor and the problem is still not resolved until now.

Is the television properly powered by a suitable rooftop antenna for digital terrestrial television (DTT)? Since after scanning the UHF band, it does not lock onto any carrier of the 5 multiplexes in service...
Hello
I am painfully disappointed with Auchan's attitude; they are messing around. Indeed, it is their DUTY to ensure the warranty; you have nothing to do with the manufacturer. I had a problem with my computer with Medion, and they sent me to Carrefour, who sold the device, and it was resolved. You see, that's how it works. I worked in customer service for a few decades, and the laws haven't changed. First of all, you have to satisfy the customer; secondly, the warranty is sacred, and it's the seller who is responsible. They should consider what would happen if Funai went bankrupt, for example; it would be up to Auchan to take responsibility, like it or not. You should alert Auchan's consumer service, which is near Lille, otherwise threaten and notify consumer associations. Don't let Auchan push you around
hang in there, bye

Thank you for your message. I finally got a person from Funai Paris because the carrier still hasn’t come after making me wait two hours from 8 AM to 6 PM. The customer service told me, "Ah, well it would be better for you to take it to Auchan yourself, it's simpler!" So, after 16 days of waiting (customer service restructuring, ghost carrier), this is Funai's solution, and now I have to wait 3 to 4 weeks without a TV loan. THANK YOU FUNAI, THANK YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE, and what about customer satisfaction? Not even a gesture of goodwill, not even the fact of bringing the TV to my home or lending me another television.
I leave all internet users to think before buying from Funai.

Dear SCBOF 21,
I am sorry for the problem you are facing. However, Bernorenard, who intervened in this forum, and whom I thank, describes the reality. As a manufacturer, we must take responsibility for repairs during the warranty period. Nonetheless, the logistics required to repair your television fall to the retailer. You also mention a delay of 3 to 4 weeks... Funai has committed to never exceeding 21 days. Therefore, I am surprised to read that our customer service has communicated such a delay to you.
That being said, there is obviously a malfunction. I invite you to contact me directly so that you can explain the situation to me in detail (01 49 38 96 70). I will ensure that the intervention time is reduced as much as possible.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and I wish you a good day.

Hello
The TV isn't the issue!
There's no miracle; you do a SCAN and you get NOTHING, and what about the antenna? Apparently, it's not providing anything, so you can keep searching?
Check the websites
www.tvnt.net
https://www.tousaunumerique.fr/
then we can discuss it

I just bought a 55cm Funai LCD TV, and on their website, they offer a FREE 5-year warranty for their TV simply by registering the product on their site: that's really great! Few manufacturers can afford that (or if they do, they sell it for at least €89...I checked).
Hello,
I also have the same problem as you with my FUNAI television, and I wanted to know if since you posted the message you have found a solution.
Thank you

NON, EVEN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DOWN, AND THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE FOR 8 DAYS. I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO CALL THEM BACK, AND WHEN WILL THEY INTERVENE...? Regarding the number provided via 01....... voicemail, it has been a week and no one has called back. Thank you, Funai, I strongly advise against it.

I just bought a Funai LT5-M20BB television, 51 cm, and I can perfectly receive TNT as well as TF1 and M6, but I can't get the France Télévisions channels (2, 3, and 5) properly. The picture is all fuzzy and it keeps glitching!!! I checked my antenna cable and it is in perfect condition!!!
I kindly ask you to assist me, otherwise I will have no choice but to return it to the store!!!
Thank you in advance for your understanding!
Sincerely.

Hello
I'm responding to the message "need help", to say that I'm experiencing the same issue.
I bought a LT5-M20BB model in 2007. It loses the memory of the TNT channels. Most of the time this occurs after 4 to 5 days. At first, it lasted 3 to 4 weeks, but less than two days ago it didn't last an hour.
If Funai's customer service reads the forum, I want to point out that the previous TV with a TNT box always worked, and the outdoor antenna is in sight of the transmitter barely 2 KM away. Since the transmitter is powerful, I did a test with an indoor antenna, and it works well, but I also lose the memorization of TNT channels in that case.
I want to clarify that the TV is always plugged in and we turn it off using the "standby" button on the remote control.
So, I would like to get help before taking the TV back to Carrefour.
Thank you.

I bought a television with built-in DTT. The installation went well, but I notice that I'm missing some DTT channels (Virgin 17 and Gulli). I can't install them manually... :/ I don't understand this problem since I have DTT on another television (but it doesn't have it built-in), and all the DTT channels work on that one. Could it be because it's not the same antenna??? Thank you for getting back to me as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,
I understand your concern. However, in this specific case, your issue does not lie with the LCD TV, but with the reception. Your television is not faulty. You are in an area where the signal strength of the France Télévision group channels is insufficient. I invite you, to confirm this, to conduct the same test, either with another TV or with an external TNT box.
The solutions: You can call in an antenna technician to adjust your antenna.
I remain at your disposal, and I thank you for your comment.
Sincerely,
Alexandre Sopoçko

Good evening, I have an issue with receiving the new TNT channels. The TV purchased in November 2010 has been working very well so far (given the price), I have no complaints, but the channel tuning isn’t ideal! Thank you for letting me know how to receive channels 21/22/23/24/25. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
mais si la TNT est intégrée normalement, on n'a pas besoin d'antenne. Alors moi, avec ma télévision Funai, c'est intégré mais ça ne détecte pas la porteuse.
I recently bought the Funai LCD LT5-M20BB 51 cm television at Carrefour for €300, there was a mention of "HD ready" on the product specification sheet, then the seller assured me that it was HD ready compatible, but when I unpacked it, there was no mention of this feature. I did some research online, and several sources claim that it does not have "HD ready." So can I go back to Carrefour and make a scene, or have I been scammed? Since I bought it solely for HD!
Hi
It's not as simple as you think. Is your antenna collective or individual?
Is the TNT transmitter for your area nearby or far away? Ask if there are neighbors who might know.
Take a look at "tvnt.net/forum," gather information by department; you can find out which transmitter serves you. After that, you need to know if your antenna is properly pointed at that transmitter. If it's a "collective" one (building), check if it has been modernized for TNT, which came with new channels; they need to add amplifiers for these new channels, etc. You see, it's not just a matter of plugging it in and it works.
Come on, gather your courage, see the local antenna technician, ask him a thousand questions, and you'll find solutions and the joy of overcoming problems.

I bought a Funai 82cm TV at Carrefour a year ago. I have the Freebox HD via HDMI and a PS3, before that, I just had a simple TNT tuner with a shared antenna, and honestly, I'm very happy with it, no problems at all, maybe just one thing – it would be nice to have a second HDMI port... otherwise, I'm really very, very satisfied.
Je n'ai que la 1, la 6, W9 et NT1 alors que mon écran a la TNT intégrée, mais je ne sais pas comment faire pour les avoir. Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plaît ?
Good evening everyone.
My daughter bought her first TV, a Funai LT5-M20BB, 15 days ago. I have the same problems as everyone here (not all channels, loss of reception) and on top of that, a black screen with just a few search squares at the bottom right. I'm not very far from the transmitter; I tried the TV in several houses, and nothing works.
Meanwhile, all the other TVs and TNT boxes work wonderfully.
A TV that only works for 2 hours every 15 days is not great.
I'm going to return it to Carrefour's customer service to see what solution they propose.
Otherwise, I'll call Funai's customer service if nothing is done.
But I think when you buy equipment, it should work.
And since everyone on this forum has the same issues, there must be a problem.
Take care and have a good evening everyone.

You know Funai is not worse than anything else and I would give them a good point because in this forum the "manager" answered the questions of the forum members and made himself available to help them, that's taking responsibility as a "manager". Look here above post 8 from 2008, if you ever see a response from Samsung here, I'll become a monk!
Hi
Hi
Ah well, he responds and I invite you to try to contact him via the number provided 0149... or leave him a message and you will let me know what comes of it. I've been trying for 2 weeks and I constantly get the voicemail in a loop and never any response either by email or by phone. My TV has been broken since the 6th, it's the 15th. The customer service was supposed to update their IT system (a week at least), since then I have been able to reach them and they scheduled a courier appointment for yesterday between 8am and 6pm, and no one came or bothered to call me back. Today, after contacting them, I was told, "Oh, we can't do anything, just reschedule an appointment for Monday, same time slot," and no prior contact (customer service????). Moreover, there are at least 3 weeks of repairs without even a loaner TV, so can you tell me where the quality of customer service is in all this?
Best regards
