SD card "write protected"

Question

Hello,
I just bought a 1 GB SD card to use in a digital photo frame. It is a PANASONIC SD CLASS2 model.
I insert it into the camera and everything works fine. I insert it into my laptop with XP and everything is fine. But I cannot delete files once copied to my hard drive and I cannot copy files onto it either. An error message states that it is "Write protected."
I have been trying since Christmas and I cannot use it as I want.
I look forward to your advice. Thank you in advance. For your information, I am very, very new to this.

Hi it's really simple on the side of the SD card there is a small write protection tab just slide it and it's good see you+

I had the same problem: I couldn't read it with my card reader. I put it in my camera, took one picture, and it was able to write to the card. Now, everything works fine with the card reader. As if it had been unlocked by the camera.

Hello, I’m new and I bought a DSi and a 4GB SDHC card. I wanted to copy music in AAC format to my DSi, but it says the disk is write-protected. I tried to lift the lock on the side of the SD card, but nothing changes.
