Hello,
when I go into the disk defragmenter, most of the disk is made up of contiguous files, but what does a contiguous file mean? I'm a beginner.

Thank you in advance

Contiguous files are files placed in blocks, meaning they are not physically fragmented.

In fact, in the Windows defragmenter, red files (fragmented files) will become blue (contiguous files), except for green files (non-movable files) since they are used by the system in operation (some defragmenters can defragment these files before Windows boots). And finally, white indicates free space. ^^

The goal of the defragmenter is to create contiguous files and allocate a larger amount of free space to avoid fragmentation.

    See you soon!

For flexibility, put it in the microwave for a few seconds; otherwise, for speed, I don't know what could solve the problem.

I’m not a noob, but I can tell you that those who criticize beginners for free, like you, instead of helping them, are a real pair of slap-worthy heads and have nothing to do with how it works. And even worse, the way you speak is not respectful towards those who ask for help, so you might as well refrain from spewing nonsense like you do. Mind your own business and let more qualified people than you help them, period.
