I am having an issue with my 82cm Neovia LCD TV. I bought the TV 2 years ago, but since last night, the screen turns off on its own (we can't see the image but we can hear the sound). I would like to know if anyone has encountered this problem with this device and what they did to resolve it.
Thank you in advance

Good evening
The two capacitors C12 and C13 are located on the power board of the television, that is to say on the board where the 220V comes in.
They are two capacitors about 2cm high and 1cm in diameter, so they are easy to spot and easy to replace.
In any case, you need to disassemble the power board to carry out the operation.
If these capacitors are even slightly bulging (you can compare them visually with two others also on the board, but in another part of the power supply), they must be replaced without fail.
To take a photo, I would have to disassemble my television again, but if you really can't find them, I can take a picture of the ones I have replaced.
Good luck.-
Thank you Willy
but you are talking about a transformer (from 220 to 15 volts) now, which is separate from the television.
I'm a bit unsure because I can see the image but it's lacking brightness; it looks like the contrast is turned all the way up (I've checked of course and that's not the case). I thought it was the power supply for the screen's border that wasn't working properly, what do you think? In the meantime, I'm going to check the transformer. -
Hi Willy,
It's been a month since my TV broke down, and it’s not even 3 years old.
I noted your comments to share with the repairman who says the failure is related to the circuit board?
That’s why there’s no picture but the sound works.
I asked him for an estimate to repair it, and he replied between 50€ and 400€, what a range!!!!
I doubt his honesty, and that's why I'm gathering information to make sure he won't swindle me.
If the problem is really related to capacitors C12 and C13, then I could take it back and fix it myself.
What do you think?

Good evening
same problem. on TV NEO4005 LS (101 cm) no sound anymore!
bought in December 2005 (about €2200), fortunately with a 5-year warranty extension!
tonight, scoop TV is down. irreparable!
I don't know what Auchan will offer me in the coming days...
Let's pray!-
Hello, I have the same television as you, but I don't have a remote control (it was given to me for free like that)
Do you know where I could get a remote control? Or if a universal remote control works with this kind of television?
Could you possibly give me the specifications of your remote control so that I can order one? (Serial number or model number)
Thank you for your help. -

Neovia 26" TV
The image disappears after 3 seconds and the sound is fine
I took it to the local repairman
FIRST QUOTE 180 EUROS for repair
but it's actually just a small part related to the power supply (overheating = too many devices on one socket)
I managed to get off for a low cost
good luck to you -
Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.
Indeed, this model has a power supply problem, you won't believe me, I found a Neovia TV outside on the street and I brought it home, I plugged it in and I was so happy =) it works!! But 2 minutes later there was no picture and only sound remained...
I took my screwdriver and voilà, I found that it has a power supply issue, specifically with the capacitors! I saw that someone already mentioned on the forum that the two capacitors C12 and C13 need to be changed, and they're right!
Indeed, when you open it, you find the two swollen capacitors which means they are dead! But I should add that there is a third capacitor that is dead, it is just next to the two capacitors and it is small
so the repair cost is about €1.5
Otherwise, if you don't want to take any risks, detach the power supply board and go to a repair shop, ask them to change all three dead capacitors, which I did and it cost €12. I plugged everything back in and it works perfectly!!! A TV for €12 is pretty awesome, right? XD
For those who want the reference for the two dead capacitors (C12, C13)
they are identical capacitors of type radial 35v 1000µF 105°
Quick note: I replaced them with 64v capacitors as they are more resilient according to the repairman. -
Hello,
I see that this model is inexpensive to purchase but turns out to be unreliable. I also have a NEOVIA 2605 television that no longer works, THE PROBLEM: When I turn it on, the red light flashes and there is no image or sound? Has anyone else had this issue? No one is talking about it, if anyone has the solution, I’m all ears!!!!!! -
Welcome to the club, I have exactly the same problem with my Neovia Neo 26 ES TV and like you, it is out of order after 29 months of use... so no more warranty.
The company NEOVIA that I contacted is sending me back to the retailer or subcontractor, but there are no more parts available because Neovia has been liquidated and they are now making antennas.
Regarding the issue, I think it is the graphics card also known as the inverter board...
If you find anything else on your side, contact me.... -
Hello, I just encountered the same problem and I would like to know what solutions you found. Thank you.
Best regards. -
tele NEOVIA 26", no image, no sound, but screen cycling through all colors every 10 seconds
who knows about this, thank you -
Hello,
I have the same problem......Néovia TV broken after 30 months (no picture).
Customer service just informed me that my TV is not repairable because there are no spare parts!
I'm going to Carrefour this afternoon to see what they offer me.......
Please contact me if you've been in the same situation and if any solutions were provided to you. -
I have the following problem: when turning on, the screen is white, then red, then green, then blue, after about 10 seconds. I can hear sound if I connect a VCR via the Scart input, but there is no image. The TV has never been used as a television with an antenna. Thank you if you have any ideas.

Hello,
I bought a NEOVIA NEO26ES LCD screen some time ago.
After a few hours of normal operation, the image freezes on the right vertical third (either that third turns white or brown).
Could you please indicate where the problem might come from (video management??).
I can't find a way to reset the factory settings, nor to perform the auto test, what is the procedure?
The panel seems to be the same as Philips', is that really the case, and if so, what is the equivalent model?
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
Best regards.

Hello
Personally, the Neovia - NEOHDD17 - LCD 17"- Hard Drive integrated 40Go version works well for me, I was happy with it until I lost the power supply block
. If anyone knows a customer service or a seller for a power supply block for this model,
I would be very happy to turn it on again (hoping it still works since it has been over 30 months since purchase now). -
Hello,
The contact details for NEOVIA's customer service are: 08 92 700 022
It is the company CIRMA (in St Loubès 33).
As for NEOVIA TVs, what about the PCs ... ??? Are they the same ??? :-)
