Hello,
So here it is... I have acquired the Fujitsu Siemens PA 1538 P5205 laptop (AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52, 2048 MB of RAM, 1.6 GHz) and I would like to restore it to its "factory" state. But I can’t find the recovery CDs that came with the computer.
Is there a key to press when starting up the Fujitsu that allows for restoration? Do you know where to go to burn the Master CDs?
Thank you in advance for your answers :)
Have a good evening, Poubs67.

Hello, here is how to restore
Here is the procedure to restore a Fujitsu without a CD.
1. Turn on your computer
or: If the computer is already running, turn it off, wait a moment, and turn it back on.
2. During boot-up, press the F8 key repeatedly until the
"Advanced Boot Options" menu appears. You may need to repeat this action until you can open the menu.
3. In the "Advanced Boot Options" menu, the
"Repair your Computer" option is available. If it is not, select "Repair
your Computer" using the up/down arrow keys and confirm by pressing the Enter key.
4. Once Windows has loaded some files, the "System Recovery
Options" appear. Under "Select a language," choose your language, and under "Choose a keyboard layout," select the keyboard layout you are using. The language is usually recognized automatically by the system and grayed out. Click on "Next."
5. Under "User Name," type your username and "Password." The username is also offered in the dropdown menu, which you can access by clicking on the black triangle. If you have not set a password for the selected user, leave the "Password" field empty. Then click "OK."
6. In the next "System Recovery Options" menu, select the "Fujitsu Siemens Computers Recovery" option and the associated point "Easy
backup and recovery of your system."
7. Select "Restore factory default settings" and click "Next."
8. In the "Restore factory default settings" menu, select under "Select source" the option "From hard disk (recommended)," and confirm with "Next."
9. The following message alerts you that all data will be lost. Once this message is confirmed, your system is restored. At the end of the restoration process, a completion message appears.
10. Select "Exit" to finish the process.
11. In the next "System Recovery Options" menu, select "Restart."
12. After restarting, you will need to make some additional settings.
To do this, follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
