Alt+F10 is not working

Why do you need to press alt+f10? To boot from the CD? If so, it might not necessarily be alt+f10, it could be f11. It's sometimes indicated at startup in the form of "boot menu".

On a desktop PC ACER, there are no other options than using the Alt+F10 keys to activate the restore process.

This has nothing to do with accessing the BIOS setup with the (F12) key on an ACER.

1- An ACER PC can be restored either with the DVD previously burned by the user or from the hidden partition called PQservice. Both methods are accessible by pressing ALT+F10.

2- For tibo31, msconfig does not allow for a factory reset (complete reinstallation of the Windows system); it is just a system registry restore point.

Before you begin, make sure you still have the hidden partition. To do this, right-click on "My Computer" => "Manage" => "Disk Management". If there is a partition called PQSERVICE, then you can continue; otherwise, I'm sorry, you need the CDs!!
I'll start if you have the partition:
1) Download the PTEDIT32 software ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...s/PTEDIT32.zip
2) Launch the PTEDIT32 software, in line number 1 under Type, you will see the number ..., change it to number 07, then save and restart
3) Now I believe that if you go to "My Computer," the hidden partition should have appeared, access the partition and search for the two files: "mbrwrwin" and "rtmbr.bin", if you find them, copy them to the root C:
4) Now you will restart to enter safe mode "press F8 before Windows starts" and choose "command prompt in safe mode."
5) Wait for it to load, after the command window appears, type "C:" to return to the root if you are not there, then type "mbrwrwin install rtmbr.bin".
6) Finally, it's done, now you can format your PC again simply by pressing ALT+F10 simultaneously at startup of the PC at the Acer logo! But be careful, as soon as you perform this manipulation, there is no going back!!!
