Hello,
So, I can no longer download updates from the Windows Updates site,
I have the error message 0x8007043B, I followed the procedure that involves adding BITS and WUAUSERV to the service list in the netsvcs key...
Nothing works.
I went to the service center, the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service..." is indeed started.
However, in "Automatic Updates," when I click on start, it gives me the following message: "Unable.... Error 1083, the program that the service is supposed to run in does not implement the service"!
I've been stuck on this for hours and hours...
If anyone could help me, thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello spy,
I'm back,
I downloaded the program and launched it... Indeed, I have a red cross on automatic update.
It says Analysis impossible. The installation of the Windows Update agent did not complete.
Restart the computer to finish the installation and restart the analysis...
What to do??

You are not well secured at all, know this
Avast is no longer the antivirus of the moment; Antivir is strongly recommended.
You do not have a powerful firewall (other than the Windows one which is terrible!)
Your Java console is also not up to date (risk of virtual world infection!)
===
For now, restart hijack
Scan only
Check the boxes that look like the lines below:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: optimizer by rightonadz - {AB71E94E-3DC4-41eb-BBD5-31E82C9FD1D4} - (no file)

Click on fix checked

=====

Then read further to educate yourself

Good evening,
if someone hears me... let me know if I need to reinstall everything or not... I have no access to any updates...
I tried to repair it, but it got stuck at one point telling me it couldn't copy the migregdb.ex file (which is on the CD, in the i386 folder), I did it without that, apparently the computer works, but still no updates.... it's really frustrating me..
