Scrol dans celule tableau sans créer de frame

Bonjour,
Une petite question dont je n'ai pas trouvé la réponse sur le forum.

Est-il possible d'insérer une barre de défilement verticale dans la cellule d'un tableau sans forcément passer par la création d'une frame (les frames perturbent un peu le référencement pour les moteurs de recherche... et ma question concerne ma page d'INDEX!)

Merci pour votre aide (j'utilise dreamweaver)

Une autre chose : sur cette page de site : http://www.trainright.com/folders.asp?uid=1 en haut à droite il y a des news insérées dans un petit tableau qu'on fait défiler à l'aide de l'ascenceur (en fait c'est ce genre de manip que je cherche à refaire sur mon site...)
Pensez-vous que le webmestre ait créé un cadre pour cela ou bien a-t-il pu faire ça avec un simple tableau?

Utilise la propriété CSS overflow.

Pour le 2ème point, c'est en flash.

Bonjour,

L'exemple que tu donnes utilise du Flash couplé à du Javascript.

Tu peux créer un scroll sans frame.
Indique des dimensions à un bloc placé dans la cellule et précise-lui “overflow:auto;”

Salut,
Merci... mais comment créer "un bloc".
Ok je me place dans ma cellule, et après..
(au fait, quand je regarde le code de ma page où j'ai inséré mon tableau, je n'arrive même pas à trouver la fonction overflow... du coup je pense que c'ets à moi de l'insérer... petit coup de main?)

Pour info je suis sur dreamweaver 8, et voici mon site (construit sans formation particulière... je suis très "touche à-tout")

(je veux mettre un ascenseur dans le tableau de ma pg d'accueil pour gagner de la place au dessous)

Bonjour,

...Mais cela ne marche toujours pas!
Alors on va y aller doucement...j'ai créé une nouvelle page pour faire des essais.
J'y ai mis un tableau avec 1 seule cellule.
J'y ai mis du texte.
Le code est ci-dessous.
Si je veux réduire ce tableau en hauteur et qu'une scrollbar apparaisse, quel serait alors ce nouveau code (ds mon exemple précisément)?
Merci beaucoup (oui, je crois avoir besoin du B.A.BA. qu'il me manque...)

Bon.

Il s'agit d'insérer un balise de type block dans la cellule concernée.
J'utilise une <div> à laquelle je donne les dimensions de mon choix.
Si le reste ne suit pas, c'est certainement que tu définis ailleurs des dimensions dans les <tables> comme “<td height="2503"”.

En tous cas merci beaucoup!
Par ailleurs, ton scroll sur l'image png est très joli, je ne sais pas comment mon texte s'y est inséré, mais bon, on va arrêter de compliquer, je me contenterais du "classique-one"!!

Ok, ça marche depuis toutà l'heure, par contre, comment modifies-tu le texte?
Tout se sélectionne, impossible de placer le curseur quelque part. Les nouvelles données effacent les anciennes..
