Issue with Intel 82801FB ICH6 - AC'97 sound card

Hello, could someone please help me find the appropriate driver to install my Intel 82801FB ICH6 - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-1]
My PC configuration is as follows:

    We need to stop talking about the Intel 82801FB ICH6 - AC'97 sound card

    IT IS NOT THE REFERENCE OF A SOUND CARD, but the reference of the chipset on which the sound card is installed., a sound card that complies with the AC'97 specification.

    Analog Devices does not provide drivers for its sound cards because certain elements are left to the discretion of the PC manufacturer.

    You should therefore go to the Lenovo/IBM site. And there, for Vista, they redirect to Windows Update https://support.lenovo.com/fr/en/?lndocid=MIGR-58931!

    J'ai formaté et réinstallé XP, et je n'ai plus de son. J'ai téléchargé Everest, et il me dit que ma carte est Analog Devices AD1981B(L) @ Intel 82801FB ICH6 - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-1] PCI. Je voudrais savoir comment faire pour le télécharger.

    Go to www.touslesdriver.com, you will find at the top "my drivers", click then "analyze", and you will find the hardware on your PC and the drivers you need to install.

    Sorry to tell you that you clearly don't know anything about it.
    Otherwise, you wouldn't propose an HD driver for an AC'97 sound card.

    Hello,

    You should find the driver for your sound card on your hard drive in:
    C:\Windows\Drivers
    or
    C:\Drivers for older models.

    Go to this page --> VAIO, at the bottom click accept, download and save it in your documents.

    Unzip it and you will find the driver you need for audio.

    I HAVE NO SOUND NEITHER THROUGH THE HEADPHONES NOR THROUGH THE SPEAKERS

    phew it's a bit new for me lol well now I'm in device manager if I'm not mistaken that's where we see the drivers
    I clicked on video and game controllers
    so there are audio legacy drivers and another audio codec
    but all I can do when I right-click is update the driver
    or properties or search for material changes there you go
