Freebox black and white

Hello,

I just received my Freebox HD V2. I plugged everything in nicely and it works more or less well.
I connected my Freebox to a Scart switch, which is connected to my TV, a PHILIPS 21PT5402.
Result: black and white image.

However, when I connect the Freebox directly to the TV, it works perfectly in color.

It seems that I can't make any PAL/SECAM adjustments on my TV, and I wonder where this problem comes from.
A small detail, I tried with a new Scart switch (new and electronic) for the same result as with the other.

Thank you for your advice or ideas
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.9

I have a problem with my Freebox HD that I've had for only a month and it displays the image in black and white
since I got it. After various connection attempts (Scart, RCA, and S-video), nothing works; the problem persists
    the same on another TV.

      Hi Travis,
I have the same problem too.
I've had my Freebox V5 for 10 days now. The result: TV in black and white!
Do you have the Freeplug (power line adapter) to connect the ADSL and TV boxes or do you have the old method with the MIMO antennas?

I have exactly the same problem: black and white TV screen...

I have the latest version of the Freebox HD, the one without antennas... my 2 boxes (ADSL and HD) are connected with the Freeplugs...

Freebox of real scammers after 2 years of battling, I returned the Freebox, no news from Free, they send me to collections without having studied the case, I've lost all my recordings which turned black and white, I've seen over 130 identical cases online, with miserable solutions, the director of Free untouchable behind a screen of procedures to never be reached, a bit like Proglio at EDF and thousands of complainants here and there, Free has become a charlatan operator that hides the flaws of its equipment, has used abusive procedures to deceive me, I returned the equipment and canceled Free, you should do the same after trying 1000 bogus solutions, we should come together, create associations of "indignant" people and "popular" courts to judge these scammers and get rid of them here and there, they are lining their pockets with our difficulties, society is being ruined because of these people, it is time for a revolution to be organized against this murderous capitalism of the people.

According to the latest news, the problem is inherent to the built-in hard drive of the Freebox and also to the equipment compatible with the electronic environment of your installation, which Free does not mention, or conveys it in such a way that Free is not responsible or does not care. You will discover other inconveniences with Free, it's pointless to try to resolve it. Go online, and you will see dozens, if not hundreds, of similar cases, and this has been ongoing. You should return your Freebox and look for another system or operator; otherwise, you will end up losing a lot, and you still have to pay Free every month, just like Numericable and its CEO, Besnier, who had over 40,000 complaints. They were nicknamed "Misericable" on the internet for their system, and he was never worried because he was a friend of those in power. If you want peace of mind, return your equipment and find something else.
