Hello, so I have a Philips GoGear MP3 player.

The problem is that when I plug it in, Windows indicates that a new device has been connected, but I can't see what's on it, and when I received the MP3 player, I had no installation CD. Does anyone have a solution!?!? Every time I want to change the music, I have to go to another PC! Please help me!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.9

Hello, I have a Philips GoGear SA9200 but I don't have the USB cable to connect it to the computer. I would like to know if it works with an iPod cable? Thank you.

I also have one without an installation CD, but I have no problems with it.
In my opinion, it’s your computer that has an issue.
Make sure that all the drivers for the player are present; if not, contact me.

I found the trick.

Finally, it works for me.

You need to connect the MP3 player,

go to Start/control panel/system/ Tab "hardware"/ device manager.

Scroll down, find the "portable device" with the "philips gogear"

Uninstall it, remove the player.
Reconnect it.

Windows should normally display "a new device has been detected" click on it.

During the installation, choose "install from a list or specific location (advanced users)"
next.
"do not search, I will choose the driver to install"
next.
"USB mass storage device"

Wait, and normally, it should be fine.

I hope it works for you too.

Pierre.

Hello

I have a Philips GoGear 256MB MP3 player and I want to charge it, but it’s not working!! I pull out the USB connector that is in the MP3 player and plug it directly into the computer's USB port, is that correct? Because the battery icon is not flashing!! Plus, I don’t know how to transfer music!!

I really don’t understand anything and I need help!! Please help me, it’s super URGENT

Thank you so much in advance!

Yes, we have to do that, but it must be your computer that has a problem. What is it?

By the way, when I plug my MP3 into the PC (I should mention that I plug it directly into the USB port of the PC without using a cable), my PC does not indicate any detection of new hardware!! The operating system of my PC is Windows 2000.
