Convert .aup file to .mp3

Hello, Hi

I have made a remix of a song using Audacity, and I want to send my song to friends on MSN, but the problem is they can't read this type of file, so I need a simple software to convert the song to .mp3.
P.S.: I tried exporting to .mp3 in the software, but it gives me about twenty files named with all these 000s everywhere!

        Hello, I used Audacity to section a melody (for use in my edits), no problem, I was able to save it and reopen the excerpt afterward. But when I complicated it with an addition (copy-paste), the file was saved as .AUP and I can't listen to it again.

      Hello,
      I am encountering the same problem. File type: Audacity Project File .aup. And when I export my work, music/comments as MP3, I get an empty file named "00". I can't save it as MP3, even though my music was originally imported in MP3!
      Work done with Audacity 1.3 13 - film editing with MLMM (W7) format WLMM.
      Could someone please respond? Thank you.
