Hello,
Hello,
I have a problem with my HP laptop. After running several tests and adjustments in the BIOS, it still cannot detect the operating system. The hard drive seems to be present, but the computer stays stuck on a black screen or displays a message saying “Boot Device Not Found”.

Hello,
Is the system storage still present in the BIOS? What configuration for the BIOS and the partition table if storage is operational?
With so little detail, it's hard to diagnose where the problem comes from, unfortunately.

Hello,
Anyway, if it worked before tinkering with the BIOS, the message means that the BIOS cannot access the boot sector: either it is corrupted, or the disk’s connectors have failed, or the disk is dead.
In the first hypothesis the other thread says it’s XP, there is no default recovery console: to try to repair, you must do it from the XP CD (repair or reinstall on it) or from an XP installation key, which of course must be created on another computer.
