Hello, following a malfunction of the air conditioner, water leaked in and infiltrated my laptop; the hard drive is affected. How can I recover the data... thank you, kind regards

    Hello,

    It’s impossible for the disk to be damaged; it’s sealed, it can’t operate in the open air, it’s the electronic circuits that are the problem, or then, if it is an SSD.

    recours to laboratories is only sensible if the data are sufficiently important, given the cost (depends on the nature of the failure).

    However, the addresses are available upon simple request on any search engine by entering "hard drive data recovery" and the communication in response to a topic can be made without reservations (Ontrack, Recoveo, etc.)
