Hello, I’ve lost my Word icon on my taskbar as well as all my files, it has been replaced by a blank page. I tried the "Properties" technique for the files and it doesn’t work. Strange!!

Hello,
It’s that Word has been corrupted or uninstalled for some obscure reason, reinstalling it does not affect existing files.
Or it’s blacklisted by security software, which, barring a mishandling, would be very unusual. -
How can I reinstall it (details please, I’m not an expert)? It’s a 2007 version and I have Windows 10. Thank you

Oh yes!, what is Blacklisted by a security software? Thank you

From now on, some Office versions no longer allow repair from the Control Panel; 2007 I’m not sure about anymore; it doesn’t cost anything to try, but of course you need to have the 2007 installation CDs or a backup on disk of the files in question. Another reason I mentioned is the security software, unlikely if it’s by default Windows Defender but not ruled out if it’s third-party software, which has a rule prohibiting Word (for example) from starting; easy to check, just disable it temporarily.
