      A generic search will mostly lead to a dead end because it seems it has to work on Mac; on Windows the answer is simple, for example Balabolka locally and for free.

      Mac has native audio-reading functions:

      But I suppose the question is to record and not just read, and that is more complicated with most often online "AI" applications whose value we don't know or that are paid.
