No more menu on the continental Edison TV

Hello,

My TV is new, just 2 weeks old, it worked well for the first few days and the VIDAA menu displayed without any issues. Then, HDMI port 1 crashed, so I connected the box to HDMI 2 and that works. After that, it stopped connecting to Wi-Fi, so I bought an Ethernet cable that I haven't plugged in yet.

And now, for the past 2 days, the TV menu doesn't display anymore, nor does the volume bar. It's a smart TV, and when I turn it on, the ViDAA homepage is no longer there.

When I turn it on, it's a dark blue screen. I press OK randomly because no menu is showing up, and it takes me to my Freebox, and there's no problem watching it; the image and sound work.

However, as I mentioned earlier, if I press the home button on the remote, nothing displays; it takes me out of the box and shows a blue screen. I increase and decrease the volume, but nothing shows up. I specify that the sound works when I use the remote control, so the remote actions are functioning.

I wanted to reset the TV, but without access to the menu, I can't...

I don't know if I'm clear in my explanations.

Basically, it works with my Freebox but no longer displays the TV menu or its functions.

Your television is faulty!

Seriously, it's new and with the number of issues it has already presented, barely switched on and only after 15 days, the best option would be to claim the warranty, or even a direct refund if possible.

This is a very low-quality television assembled in Hungary with low-cost electronic components; you're going to have nothing but problems with this kind of equipment!

Hello,

First, try to unplug the TV from the power source for 2 to 3 minutes, then plug it back in.
Also check the remote control (batteries) and test the MENU/HOME button on the TV.

If the VIDAA menu does not reappear, perform a factory reset.
If the problem persists, as the TV is new (2 weeks old), contact customer service for an exchange or repair under warranty.
