Changing the Keyboard Layout in Acronis Bootable Media
Solution
To change the keyboard layout and language in Acronis Bootable Media, follow these steps:
- Boot from Acronis Bootable Media;
- Once booted, launch the product from Acronis Bootable Media;
- Press Ctrl-Shift.
If Ctrl+Shift did not change the language in Acronis Bootable Media, activate mouse navigation with the arrow keys by pressing F10 to click on the language.
More information
WinPE media has keyboard layouts used on the machine where the media is created. You can add other settings by mounting the WinPE image and using the Languages and International Servicing command line options (Set-SysLocale, Set-UserLocale, Set-InputLocale), you can find the list of locale settings here.

Windows 11: how to switch the keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY?

Hello,
The deplorable telegram style requires a bit of imagination.
As "specified," the Acronis rescue key has nothing to do with any version of Windows as it starts in WinPE recovery mode, and indeed in QWERTY layout due to a bug or design flaw.
A workaround is suggested here, but if one is not familiar with the QWERTY and AZERTY key correspondence, it is quicker to type "blindly" until the desired character is obtained.
