Solder speaker wires to 3.5mm jack

Hello,

I have two speakers that I would like to connect to a radio as outdoor speakers. There are two jack sockets at the back. Each speaker has only two wires coming out. How should I solder them onto a 3.5mm jack plug to make it work?

Hello.

Do you have the brands/models of the speakers and the radio?

Please note that passive speakers require an amplifier to produce sound.

Speakers with a built-in amplifier can be connected with a jack to an audio output.
