Hello,

Under Windows 11, after installing Fortec, my PC completely froze!
I don't know how to get out of this! Nothing works in troubleshooting! Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

If you have data to recover from a working PC, you can download the Hiren's Boot CD PE (WinPE) ISO file.

    https://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

    And Rufus

    https://rufus.ie/fr/

Create a bootable USB key of Hiren's Boot CD PE using Rufus.

If the PC is old, you need to create the key in MBR mode.

If it is recent (Windows 8 or higher), use GPT mode for EFI.

Boot from it via the PC’s Boot Menu.

You can search on Google "[Brand Model] Boot Menu Key."

Use (In Hiren's Programs) in Hard Disk Tools > Diagnostics > CrystalDiskInfo to see if the disk is detected as Good.

    Copy data if possible (Copy>Paste = Copy>Paste)

Use the link to download the Windows ISO to create a USB key (8GB Minimum) to update, repair, or install Windows.

    https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11

Once you have the Windows ISO file, you can create a Bootable USB key with Rufus.

    In GPT mode for EFI.

Boot from it via the PC’s Boot Menu key.

You can search on Google "[Brand Model] Boot Menu Key."

Click (If offered): Previous version of the configuration.

    Select "Custom installation" (Not upgrade).

It’s not necessary to format if there is space; if there are data, they will be found in a Windows.old folder (Which will automatically delete after 10 days).

Install on the same partition or, if you prefer, delete all system partitions and create a new one (Deletes data).
