ASUS TABLET UPDATE

Hello,
I have an ASUS TX 201 LAF tablet running ANDROID 4.4.2, which is no longer up to date.
Is there a way to force an update? (You can do this to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 even if the PC is supposedly not compatible.)
Thanks in advance, I find it really unfortunate to have equipment that is no longer useful due to planned obsolescence!

Hello,
This tablet runs on ANDROID 4.4 and not Microsoft Windows, so we can't do the same thing...
It's true that Android 4.4 is no longer accepted by banks and other secure sites; but neither is Windows 95... And installing the current Windows 11 doesn't work either... The new components and electronic circuits used allow for new functions, which wasn't possible before... In many cases, you need to buy a new PC to benefit from these advancements...
The comparison is very comparable... We are just a volunteer forum, we can't modify the hardware capabilities, nor provide advice to everyone on how to do it competently..?? that would be like transforming a 504 into a 5008..!! it's still a dream... or a virtuality.
The capabilities of the ASUS TX 201 LAF tablet remain the same as at its origin.
Hello
As Pluzin mentioned with @jeannets StatutContributeur, continuing with such a device is no longer worth the cost. But, for performance, I can understand the interest in keeping it alive. Forget about heavy usage regardless of its low performance.
There are risks of making the tablet unusable during certain steps for such operations, but for performance, it's a risk worth taking. If you intend to sell it or keep it as it is, forget it.
This tablet contains an Intel Atom Z2560 whose architecture is... not ARM but rather a well-known x86-32!
This indicates the possibility of running either Android OR Linux.
Linux is therefore the last viable option for Internet usage if it's still possible to upgrade the kernel and the system dependencies in the latest revisions. Otherwise, off-network see warning above.
PostMarketOS more specifically. A lightweight version of Linux with a kernel that is compatible with this type of hardware. The Atom Z2560 is a prime target as it is present in other more widely distributed tablets.

Keep me updated ;-)
Good evening,
Thank you for your advice, but given the complexity and risks, I will not attempt it due to my limited knowledge of the system.
Sincerely
