Currently, an attempted scam is underway targeting Crédit Agricole customers. The impostors, posing as the bank, alert their victims of a suspicious transaction on their account via SMS that appear to come from the bank. They are actually trying to extract personal and banking information over the phone. Crédit Agricole reminds that it never requests such information over the phone. If you receive this type of SMS, it is recommended to report it to platforms like Signal Spam or Pharos, then block the sender and delete the message. If any data has been shared, you should contact the authorities and your bank immediately. Have you ever been exposed to such a situation? What advice would you give to protect yourself from such frauds?

2 or 3 times I've received this type of text message with always the same amount of €412, obviously I block it! Another scam by email of the same kind but this time the message includes my name, my address, and my IBAN! Blocked as well

    Hello.

Any holder of an official mobile banking app who regularly uses said application should normally receive a reminder just before or just after logging in, stating to be cautious of malicious acts such as SMS phishing.

When in doubt, always make a request to your bank via the app messaging service or a trusted NUMBER, through your advisor.
