Casio S100 FAKE VAT

Hello,
I bought a second-hand Casio SE S100. I have reset the machine several times and entered the departmental rates. The machine came with a guide in Spanish and German. I have followed the French procedure for entering the rates and assigning them (T1/T2/T3).
However, with every sales entry, the VAT amounts are not correct. For example, for a sale of €27.00 at 5.5% VAT, the amount of VAT shown by the device is €1.41 when it should be €1.48. I have the same machine in another store, and I haven’t encountered this problem.
I am desperate and quite annoyed.
Thank you for your help!
Sincerely.

Hello,
By clicking on this link, go directly to page 18 for the VAT setting:

Hello,
Apart from artisans (and it is rare for them to have cash registers), merchants charge VAT included.
VAT is referred to as an "internal" tax; it is included.
(27/1,055) - 27 indeed gives the correct VAT amount of 1.41.
It would only be if the billing were tax-exempt that we would have:
(27x1,055) - 27 = 1.48
Therefore, it is not the VAT rate that is in question; it is correct, but rather the possibility that the register has to invoice without tax.
In any case, since the billing is directed at individuals and not professionals, there is no choice; the law requires invoicing with VAT included. The moral is that in cases where we are indeed allowed to charge excluding tax (HT), it is not page 18 of the manual that is relevant but page 70 where we can choose for the different VAT rates to be added tax rather than included.
The catch is that it's a cash register, not a suitable software package, we won't have a solution for a mixed clientele of professionals and individuals, but it is true that both can request invoices, not receipts, but these last ones, since in either case they do not issue VAT which has only a accounting purpose, will not reflect reality.
