Where are the photos?

Hello,

Due to a mishap, the Samsung S23+ is all mixed up. A PC repair technician tried to put everything back in order, but it's in his order. For example, behind the Gallery icon, there are no more photos. Knowing that he didn't delete anything, where are they?

    Hello,

    The gallery does not store photos; it's just a viewer. You can access them from another application.

    Generally, they can be found in: My files, internal storage, DCIM...

    Or on an SD card if someone has placed them there.

    I am very pessimistic:
    As Kori-Kori told you, the Gallery is simply an image manager.

    It shows the images saved on the smartphone. It’s an automated process.
    If it shows nothing, it means there are no images on the smartphone. They must have either disappeared or been deleted. Have you correctly selected Photos at the bottom of the window?
    Try taking a photo. You should see it immediately in the Gallery.
