Hello,
I use Google Calendar and, until today, my default calendar was my work calendar.
I would now like the personal calendar I created to be my reference calendar.
Is it possible? If so, how?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,

Hello, there are several methods, but I recommend the first one!

FIRST METHOD

Create events directly in your personal calendar
Steps:

Open Google Calendar on your computer (via calendar.google.com).

Click the Create button (at the top left) or double-click on a time slot to add an event.

In the event creation window, locate the dropdown menu next to the calendar name (by default, it displays your work calendar).

Select your personal calendar from the list.

Fill in the event details and click Save.
Tip: Although Google Calendar does not automatically remember this choice, you can get into the habit of manually selecting your personal calendar each time you create an event.

SECOND METHOD

Use extensions or scripts to automate
Some extensions like Google Calendar Plus or custom scripts (via Google Apps Script) can help automate the selection of the personal calendar for new events.

Example with Google Calendar Plus:

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Configure it to set preferences, such as prioritizing a specific calendar.

Test creating events to see if the extension makes it easier to use the personal calendar.
Note: Check the reliability and security of extensions before using them.

It's up to you
