Xtra Calendar 2018 unable to use

Good evening and Happy New Year!
For several years, I have been using the Xtra desk calendar. I need to request permission again each year, and I have received licenses with each request.
This time, it's not working. I download the application without any problem, but as soon as I want to indicate something to do on Wednesday, I get the following message: "Access violation at address 0040448C in module Cld2000.exe, reading from address FFFFFFF7." I even completely uninstalled the application (but still found some files), but I can't open the 2018 calendar. What should I do? Thank you for your help.

    Hello,
    As a user of XTRA for several years
    Facing the same issue of the 2018 bug, I found a free software that does pretty much the same
    thing as XTRA, easy and simple to use.
    This software is called KALENDER Version 2.5.2
    I tested it and confirm the similarity.

    Hello,

    There is probably a bug in the 2018 version, but it hasn't been maintained for 5 years and won't work anymore in 2020: so you have little chance of getting a fix.
    From testing it myself, I can confirm that the error is indeed real.

      Thank you for your response, but why continue to circulate the 2018 version and no longer issue the licenses? I had those for 14, 15, 16, 17...
      Are there other calendars of the same kind, with space to indicate tasks, image choices, etc...?

      Why continue? It's like clothes and cars: there are models that are no longer produced, but the stocks still find customers!

      because like cars, old models work very well and are simple to use, while the new ones are too complicated and do not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, this software was perfect and practical.

    I was using it until 01/2018... too bad, I'm trying the one for W10, but I can't find the option to open it at startup.

    Hello, I was like you. I had tried everything (well, I think ...). I reinstalled it, started as an administrator and ... it works and without data loss. I wish you the same!

      I managed to reinstall it, but I can't set tasks (it says "read-only").

      And there you go, after turning it off and back on, everything is working! Problem solved, we'll see in a year...

    Same here.
    I manage to reinstall it by changing the date on my computer (12/31/2017) for example, and then I set the correct date of 2018 once the application is installed. It works as long as I don't turn off my computer.
    But as soon as the computer is turned off in the evening, for example, the next day it’s blocked again when I power on the computer.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the incident on 01/01 "Access violation..."
    we received a LOT of emails.

    The issue was resolved on 02/01.

    1/ Stop the application
    2/ Then download the update 12.021 from http://topconges.com/
    3/ Install it without uninstalling or modifying the installation folder.

    Note: if you get a message "tableTache: Read-only data set"
    1/ Stop the application
    2/ In the Downloads folder
    right-click on the installer (Cldxtra.exe) > Run as Administrator

    (even though the application is no longer really maintained).

    For those who are still experiencing issues, there is a new update (01/12/2018)

    Indeed, if the application is restarted multiple times, the system may (not always) create multiple processes, resulting in: "Access violation" or "read-only table"

    So the latest version available on the site is: version 12.022
