Hello,
I just bought a digital DVD player DVX200B at Carrefour, and it's impossible to read from the USB port. I plug in my external hard drive, and it keeps displaying "LOAD" endlessly... What should I do???

OÙ PENSES-TU QUE JE TROUVERAI UNE TÉLÉCOMMANDE POUR UN DIGITAL DVX 200B/AVEC USB ? LA MIENNE NE FONCTIONNE PLUS. MERCI ET J'ESPÈRE QUE TU TROUVERAS LE PROGRAMME POUR FORMATER EN FAT32 CAR AVEC LE FORMATAGE DE TON ORDINATEUR, ÇA NE MARCHE PAS. IL FAUT IMPÉRATIVEMENT INSTALLER LE PROGRAMME Fat32Format.

Hello,
I read on other forums that the file needs to be on a FAT32 partition. I'm not sure if that really works since personally I thought I could play videos from a USB stick and for months now I've never been able to succeed. Every now and then I check if there's a solution, but it seems like there are few discussions around this topic. Anyway, for your hard drive, it might be because of that; it needs to be in FAT32.
And if anyone has a solution for reading from a USB stick, just ping me. Kiss. -
It's normal because the USB port doesn't handle movies; it needs a USB OST, that's the answer
it only handles photos. -
I had a similar problem with reading from a USB key, and by creating a directory it works even for the files that are in the root.

Hello, I can't read a CDR burned in DIVX AVI format on my digitalDVX200B player. Are there missing codecs? If so, where can I download them or are there any updates available for this device?
Thank you to anyone who has the solution. -
Hello!
I also had this problem, and actually, it says in the manual (p.25) that the USB connector is a 1.1! Which is quite rare nowadays. So, I tried an avi file and it couldn't read it, I converted it to divx and then it was able to read it after I burned the file to a cd-rw. As for the USB stick, the 2.0 doesn't work, it also keeps loading indefinitely. But when I used a 1.1 with the same file, it worked... so it might be a problem with the USB stick... is there really no way for it to read avi files? Do I have to convert everything?
Thanks! -
Hello,
I had the same problem.....
You need to select the source (USB) and then insert the key and it works perfectly (for me).

Same problem with my USB: AVI file cannot be read
Some DVI3 films are not listed even though they are burned on DVD = why? Codec problem? -
Hello,
I just bought this player too and it can't read movies recorded from TV on -R or +R DVDs. Is that normal?

Hello
I burned 3 DivX files on a DVDR. My digital DVD DVX200B / USB recognizes the first two but not the third, while on another player all of them are there. -
To enable this reader to read a key, an external hard drive, or anything that connects via USB, they must be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32. NTFS is not recognized.
Best regards. -
same problem as Sarah, I burned some divx and mpeg on a DVD-R and the DVD doesn’t play in the player. It tries to read the DVD, in the top left it says cd-rom for 1 second (even though it's a DVD), it shows the playback menu for half a second then goes back to the "DIGITAL" screen.
However, the DVD is perfectly recognized on PC and on a PS3. -
Hello, I also bought this player. At first, it worked very well, but now it doesn't want to read DivX formats anymore; however, it plays original DVDs just fine. Should I update the player? Also, regarding the USB, I formatted my USB stick to FAT32, put a movie in AVI format on it, but nothing happens; it also shows "load" indefinitely. What should I do?

Hello,
I think while going through this topic that the solution is to format your USB drives to FAT or even FAT32, as this drive does not support NTFS partition styles.
Hoping to have helped some of you and happy new year!?

Salut,
