Philips TV turns off, LED blinks 5 times

Hello,

 after a few minutes, the Philips TV 42PF9731D/10 turns off and the LED flashes 2 long followed by 5 short, pause and it starts again.

I have reset it several times and the time before it shuts down is decreasing.

 Is there a problem with the capacitors on the power board?

Can you help me?

    It must be a malfunctioning electronic component, but it's hard to tell you which one is actually causing the problem from a distance via a forum.

    Out of warranty.

    So, either get a quote beforehand before incurring any costs with a repairer, or consider looking for a new television.
