Hello,

As a newcomer, I am desperately trying to write an email in French to be translated into Armenian through Thunderbird (latest version 128.9.1) but I can't find it......???? I am quite frustrated.......???? I ask for the utmost indulgence from the CCM court......???? as well as the greatest clarity from whoever will reply to me, as I don't know much about something called the internet, it seems.......???? The other day, someone told me about AI; I thought it was an insult..... well, no, it’s apparently an automatic thing.

Hello,

Thunderbird does not allow for text translation in its current state. However, by installing a translation add-on, you can translate your message.

Download Web Translate to add it to Thunderbird - it is a module for translation.

Once installed, click on its icon that will appear in the Thunderbird menu bar on the right. Then, paste your text into the input box and select the language you want to translate the text into - into Armenian.

Finally, copy the translated text and paste it into your email.

I advise you to indicate in your message that this is translated text, as the text may contain translation errors.

Regarding the term "AI," it means Artificial Intelligence. It has no connection to Thunderbird. It was suggested to you because it is also capable of translating texts, but it can also make mistakes, just like the previous method. To use it, you can for example go through the ChatGPT website, or use the Copilot feature built into the Microsoft Edge browser.
