    @georges97 StatusContributor no, Odoo is not paid for the community version and can be installed locally. The cloud version is not mandatory..

    For my part, to install Odoo locally, I highly recommend using WSL.

    Otherwise, you can also find Docker images.

    I am not aware of any software designed to operate in the cloud that can be installed.

    Moreover, Sage, like all accounting software publishers, has long switched to subscription sales, which implies online validation every time registered clients log in.
