OpenAI opens access to ChatGPT without requiring an account. This makes the chatbot more accessible but also brings some restrictions, including the disappearance of conversation history and the inability to share exchanges. However, the mentioned limitations, particularly the disappearance of the history and the lack of advanced features, remind us that every solution has its trade-offs.

    On my side, I recently discovered IA en Français, a French alternative that, although in its early stages, already offers a reassuring experience. What particularly appeals to me is the fact that the data is stored in France, thus providing a better guarantee regarding confidentiality and compliance with European regulations. Moreover, the team behind IA en Français promises gradual developments to enhance the user experience.

    It is encouraging to see that innovation in the field of AI continues to evolve, and it is good to have several options, each with its advantages and limitations, so that everyone can choose the tool that suits them best.

      Honestly, I think it's great that ChatGPT is available without an account; it's super convenient for quick testing! But personally, I discovered the chatbot Claude, and I find it even better. I really like the way it responds, more naturally I think, and it gets straight to the point where GPT tends to get lost. Especially in the free version, it's better than GPT in my opinion.

    It annoys me a bit because I had to create an account to access it last year. Well, at least my chat histories are still available. I recently started using Gemini and apparently some "chatbots" seem to be better than others.


    @RallyeMaster_205, I spoke with a developer who advocates for Claude! I'm adding it to my list of AI tools to test.
