Hello, my PC is running Windows 10. I just tried to reset it to factory settings, but I didn't really succeed.... Anyway, I installed OpenOffice, at first it was fine, but now, when I try to open a "writer" or "calc" document, Microsoft displays a window saying that the offer has expired and that the document has been locked and I can only open it in read-only mode...... I'm fed up with all this! Could someone help me? Thank you

    Hello,

It's because the reset restored a Microsoft 365 trial offer.

Uninstall using the Office Uninstall Tool.

Then, if the texts and spreadsheets are not associated with OpenOffice, right-click on any file from each, open with, browse, choose OpenOffice, always.

Thank you very much, I will do that! But what surprises me a lot is that I had already tried to open it with "OpenOffice", but it didn't change anything.....I'll keep you updated.
