Hello,

I can no longer connect to the Internet on this PC, which has been working perfectly since 2012.

It has a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet network card. Is it broken?

How and where can I get it repaired?

Thank you

    Hello,

    On this old machine, the question to start with, aside from the hardware, is about the operating system (which one?) and the browser (same question).

    Start by searching for cmd.exe and type:

    ping 8.8.8.8

    If there are no errors in the response, the connection is working and it's the browser that is causing the issue; for example, under Windows 7, you will need to use Firefox ESR, which of course in this context, since you cannot connect, will require you to download it from another computer and install it from a USB drive.

    Alternatively, still in this scenario, install Windows 10 (same remark) if the PC is eligible, but this is no longer free (you can find licenses online for ridiculously low prices).

    Hello,

    Windows + R
    Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.

    Do you have a section --> Other devices?
    If so, what is the problematic device?

    What do you have in network adapters?
    Is the ethernet card present?
    If so, is it under alert?
